Senior Advisory Analyst
Guillermo Garcia Montenegro serves as a Senior Advisory Analyst at JFG Family Office. In his role, Guillermo collaborates across JFG’s advisory, investment, accounting, and operations teams to help deliver comprehensive service for clients and their families.
Prior to joining JFG, Guillermo worked in Cambridge Associates’ Investment Strategy Office, researching global asset classes and macroeconomic trends to inform client asset allocation strategies. Previously, he conducted pre-IPO and M&A due diligence for Fortune 500 clients at Exiger and led research on China–Latin America commercial and financial ties at the Inter-American Dialogue.
Guillermo has written for Forbes and policy think tanks on international economics, dollarization, and global trade. He earned a BA from Kenyon College, an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Originally from Venezuela, Guillermo lives in Washington, DC with his wife and child. Outside of work, he enjoys racquet sports, traveling with his family, and exploring new restaurants.
